This policy explains how payments work for Quikdin services and digital products. It complements our Terms of Service, Refund & Return Policy, Delivery Policy, Buyer Protection & Complaints, Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Authorized Partners, and Legal Disclaimer/Impressum.
1) Scope
This policy applies to payments for:
- Professional services: consulting/strategy, custom software & WordPress development, domain registration/resale and hosting management (SIC 63110), cloud/infrastructure advisory & integrations (we do not operate data centers), cybersecurity guidance, IT support, SEO/branding, digital marketing, and 3D/product modeling.
- Digital products: Quikdin software, themes, plugins, templates, license keys, and other downloadable assets.
2) Accepted payment methods (availability varies by region/processor)
- Debit/credit cards (major networks supported by our processors)
- Bank transfer
- Wise
- Popular local methods and mobile wallets supported by our processors
- Escrow for eligible orders (see §8)
Availability and limits depend on your location, currency, risk checks, and processor requirements. We do not accept cash or crypto by default unless agreed in writing.
3) Pricing, currency, and VAT
- Prices are shown in the transaction currency at checkout or in your quote/invoice.
- VAT applies per UK rules and is shown separately where applicable.
- Any currency conversion or issuer/bank fees are set by your bank/processor.
4) Billing descriptor and receipts
- Your statement may show a descriptor such as “QUIKDIN*SERVICES” (format may vary by processor and currency).
- You will receive a receipt or invoice by email; if VAT is chargeable, a VAT invoice is provided.
5) Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure) and verification
- Card payments in the UK/EU may require Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure). Please complete any verification prompts from your bank.
- We may request additional verification (e.g., name/address confirmation or business details) to protect you and our platform.
6) Payment security and PCI
- We use hosted/redirected checkout provided by vetted payment processors.
- Card details (PAN/CVV) are handled by our processors and are not stored on Quikdin systems (PCI DSS SAQ-A posture).
- For your safety, do not send card numbers or CVV codes to us by email, chat, tickets, or forms.
7) Fraud screening, holds, and limits
- Automated and manual checks help prevent fraud and abuse.
- We may hold or decline a transaction or request additional documentation if risk signals appear.
- Per-transaction or daily limits may apply to certain methods or regions.
8) Authorization, capture, and pre-authorization
- For some card transactions, we may place an authorization hold and capture funds when we begin or deliver the milestone/product.
- Partial captures may be used for milestone projects.
- If an authorization expires before capture, we may re-request authorization with your knowledge.
Example: For a build milestone, we authorize £2,000 and capture on milestone delivery.
9) Escrow and orders above USD 500
- Contract-based services: for any order above USD 500, you may use milestones or escrow. Each milestone defines scope, deliverables, and acceptance criteria; funds are released on acceptance.
- Digital products via escrow: permitted only with a full deposit (no milestone split).
- Planning/Discovery (Milestone 1): if you do not approve the planning deliverable, we will issue a full refund for Milestone 1 (see Refund Policy).
- Stopping early: partial refunds for unused milestones may be available (we deduct completed work and any third-party/non-recoverable costs).
- After full delivery/acceptance: no refund is available. Escrow.com refunds follow the escrow platform’s release and settlement timelines; in practice these typically complete within 14 business days after release.
10) Bank transfers (where offered)
- Pay to the account shown on your invoice; include the invoice number as the payment reference.
- Email remittance advice to support@quikdin.com so we can match your payment.
- Work starts once funds are received or as stated in your SOW.
11) Refunds and credit notes
- Eligibility and calculation follow our Refund & Return Policy.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method under processor rules; routing to a different account is not possible.
- Where VAT was charged and a refund is due, we issue a credit note showing any VAT components.
- Timing depends on your bank/processor; we will notify you when a refund is initiated.
Examples
- You paid by card/wallet → refund goes back to the same card/wallet.
- You paid by bank transfer → we may request the same account details to return funds.
12) Chargebacks and disputes
- Please contact us first; most issues are resolved faster directly.
- If you raise a chargeback, we will provide our evidence pack (order confirmations, milestone approvals, download/activation logs, communications).
- Abuse of chargebacks may result in suspension per our AUP and Terms.
13) Subscriptions or recurring billing (if used)
- If a recurring plan is offered, we will clearly show the billing cycle, price, start date, and how to cancel before you subscribe.
- Renewal notices will be sent where required.
- You may cancel future renewals via the method provided (portal or email). Cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period; no partial refunds for unused time unless explicitly stated.
14) Coupons, promotions, and credits
- Promotional codes must be applied at purchase and cannot be redeemed retrospectively.
- Expiry dates and specific terms may apply; promotional discounts generally do not stack.
- Store credits (if issued) may have a validity period and cannot be exchanged for cash.
15) Prohibited or restricted transactions
We do not process payments for illegal or high-risk categories as outlined in our AUP, including (without limitation): illegal/infringing goods/services; adult or sexual content/services; gambling/betting/lotteries; drugs/controlled substances and paraphernalia; tobacco/vapes without robust age checks; weapons/ammunition/explosives; unlicensed financial or money services/investment schemes; pyramid/ponzi; hate or violent content; unlawful telemarketing/robocalls; spyware/hacking tools or data-broker misuse; cryptocurrency uses that require licensing (unless expressly pre-approved); unregistered charity or political fundraising; sanctioned persons/territories; and religious outreach or institutional religious activities. We may refuse, reverse, or suspend any transaction that violates these rules.
16) Security and data protection (summary)
- Hosted/redirected checkout; no storage of PAN/CVV by Quikdin.
- 3-D Secure supported where required.
- Personal data is handled per our Privacy Policy.
- Share credentials only via secure channels (password managers, encrypted links, temporary credentials).
17) Late payments and unpaid balances (invoices)
- Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due on receipt.
- We may charge reasonable late fees, suspend delivery, or limit access for overdue balances after notice.
- Unpaid accounts may be passed to collections where permitted by law.
18) Errors, duplicates, and overpayments
- If we make a billing error, we will correct it promptly.
- If you accidentally pay twice, notify us; once verified, we will refund the duplicate to the original method.
19) Taxes outside the UK
Taxes. We collect and remit taxes where required by law (for example, VAT/GST on certain cross-border consumer sales of digital services). Where we are not required to collect, you are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or withholding in your jurisdiction.
